An intimate show in the beautiful natural surroundings of Sir Winston Churchill Provincial Park at Big Island's Campground Amphitheatre in Loop C. Sonia performed in February 2020 at the Music in the Forest collaboration for the Winter Festival of Speed at the Bold Center and is very excited to return with a fresh set of stories and songs to Sir Winston Churchill Provincial Park, performing for the summer series of 'Music in the Forest'.

Calgary based singer-songwriter, Sonia Deleo, works in a half pitch of musical grandiosity and sensitive poetics. Capable of enormous operatic crescendos and full-hearted intimacy, her warmth, wit, and drama feel at home in all the wide-ranging genres she works in. Fusing folk, pop, blues, and rock, her masterful vocals remain at the core of her work and lift it into a collection far greater than the sum of its parts. With stirring ballads of love, abandonment, and redemption, a quality of storytelling shines through all of her songs, making clear a distinct personality and an unflinching point of view.
